bebetheque

Visual identity concept for a Frankfurt beauty studio, exploring a more elevated and editorial expression of beauty, care and intimacy.

The proposal moved away from conventional salon aesthetics and introduced a quieter luxury language built around ritual, softness, precision and presence.

CHALLENGE

Bebetheque is a beauty studio in Frankfurt. The challenge was to imagine a visual direction that could elevate the brand beyond the familiar look of beauty salons and create a more distinctive, editorial and premium presence.

The starting point was simple: beauty should not feel rushed, generic or purely transactional. For this concept, beauty was treated as something private, intentional and sensorial.

SOLUTION

The identity exploration focused on a strong “BB” monogram, designed to feel iconic, compact and memorable. Around it, the visual world introduced softness, skin, water, shadow, marble and delicate gestures. These elements helped build an atmosphere that felt feminine without being cliché, luxurious without being loud, and local without feeling small.

The proposal placed Bebetheque in a more aspirational territory: not just a place for treatments, but a beauty destination with its own mood, rhythm and visual confidence.

This concept was not selected as the final direction, but it remains a valuable exploration of how a service-based brand can use identity and art direction to shift perception: from appointment to experience, from salon to beauty house.
